- What does it cost to start a club?
- Nothing extra to register or run a club. Riders carry their own Foil Racing Club or Competitor memberships ($59/yr).
- Do I need insurance or a permit?
- Not for casual club challenges — chartered clubs are covered under the FRL league policy. If you grow into a real event with spectators and sponsors, we'll walk you through sanctioning.
- Who can post a time?
- Any rider with a Foil Racing Club or Competitor membership and the FRL app. Your club can be open to all or restricted to a roster you approve.
- What foils count?
- Every discipline — pump, eFoil, wing, kite, downwind. You set the classes that make sense for your spot.
- How many riders do I need?
- Two is enough to start. Most clubs grow from a group chat into a real scene within a season.
