Eight flatwater venues. One season. Every foil.
Riders are spending. Brands are racing to launch product. The competitive infrastructure hasn't caught up.
Our 8 flatwater venues aren't remote. They sit inside major metro catchments, near affluent populations, on water that's already crowded with watersport spending.
Riders race separate mirrored courses — no collision risk, clear winner every heat. Each course is symmetric: 3 turns + 180° apex + 3 turns, so neither stance is favored.
Regatta-style countdown starts. Clear winner every heat.
Saturday: round-robin sprint qualifiers in pools of 4–6. Sunday: top finishers seed into main brackets, everyone else drops into a consolation bracket. Every entry guarantees water time both days.
One entry covers your division's full slate — sprint bracket, lap race, and time trial. A bad sprint Saturday doesn't end your weekend; you can still chase points in lap races and time trials, and across the season.
Brand demo zones run continuously alongside racing. Walk-up rides, gear comparisons, family rides. The on-ramp that turns spectators and family into next year's amateur entries.
Finals run mid-morning, awards at 12:30, closing lunch by 1:00 PM. Riders fly home Sunday afternoon, spectators get a clean half-day, sponsors get a tight broadcast window. Respect everyone's time.
February through October. Each stop sequenced for warmth, water access, and a population center within 90 minutes.
A small group of hardware brands shape FRL's first season — venue selection, division design, race rules. Lift Foils is in. Two seats remain.
Independent. Premium. The original eFoil brand. Lift planted the flag as FRL's first founding hardware member — unaligned with any other tour, all-in on the US ladder.
One of two remaining founding hardware seats. Open to premium foil hardware brands committed to the US racing market. In active conversation.
The third and final founding hardware seat. Founding members are limited by design — talk to us early to shape the league from the inside.
Founding members help define the format, the season, and the standard.
