Foil Racing League is the high-performance league built exclusively for eFoil racing. We stage world-class competition alongside brands helping drive electric propulsion as the future of watersports. Based in Miami, we run an eight-stop national season that crowns a National Champion.
What we do
We put the best on the water
FRL puts the fastest electric machines on the water and the riders built to push them. The leading brands in electric propulsion line up beside the best eFoil athletes in the world, so race day shows the sport at its absolute limit.
We run the whole show
FRL runs every part of race day, from the course and the format to the purse and the podium. The Miami Foil GP is the flagship, with an eight-stop tour to follow in 2027. Every event runs to the same professional standard.

FRL is where the electric watersports world gathers. Riders, brands, engineers, and fans come together on race day to see the fastest machines up close and to test what comes next. That gathering turns fast hardware into a real sport.

The 2027 season runs eight national eFoil events from February through October, ending with the National Championship at Miami Marine Stadium. Our club program and sanctioned local races give riders in every region a place to start, so the sport grows from the ground up.
A real board and published rules.
FRL is governed by a board of directors and runs on published policies that cover safety, conduct, athlete protection, and event sanctioning. Anyone involved can read exactly how the league operates, and that openness lets a young sport hold a professional standard from the first race.
One organization with two roles.
FRL is one organization with two roles. As the governing body, it sanctions and standardizes electric foil racing so a result in one region means the same thing in another. As the operator, it runs the national eFoil series and the championships that decide who is best.
